Bird is the Word
Ford’s third-generation Falcon platform spawned some of the most rare and iconic Australian muscle cars, and this XA Falcon 500 Superbird is a prime example of it. Based off the company’s well-received “Superbird” show car displayed at the 1973 Melbourne Motor Show, a mere 750 examples are reported to have been produced between March and May of that year.
Its specific ‘RPO 77’ options package included the Aussie-built 302 Cleveland V8 engine and sports suspension, while three eye-catching two-tone paint schemes were offered with matching colour-coded wheels. We are proud to offer this multi-award-winning one-owner example, finished in Polar White with Cosmic Blue and benefitting from a concours-level restoration.
