This 1960 Porsche 356 B is an Australian-delivered example presented in award-winning condition, benefitting from a recent restoration but kept in its original specification.

The 356 was Porsche’s first production car, and Australia was just the second market outside Europe to receive it when the first two imports arrived in 1951 and ’52.

Treated to significant styling updates including higher headlights and revised bumper designs, the 356 B first launched in late 1959 and remained until ’63.

Powered by a 1.6-litre flat-four and backed by a four-speed manual gearbox, this example comes finished in a classy specification with cream exterior paintwork and a blue leather interior. Merely 17,052 miles are indicated on the odometer.

Although recently restored, it was kept entirely in its original specification, with it retaining the original six-volt electrical system.

In October 2025, this 356 B claimed Best in Show at the Sydney German Auto-Fest – a testament to how beautifully this car presents.
