An Australian-built 1971 Ford XY Falcon 500 equipped with the top of the line motor, neatly presented in restored condition wearing period ‘GS’ options.

Built in December 1971, this XY Falcon 500 four-door sedan was specified with the 351 CID 2V V8 paired with a four-speed floor shift all synchro manual transmission, limited slip differential and dual exhaust system. It is currently running a non-matching D block.

This vehicle has been restored and is finished in its original combination of Jewel Green over a white interior. It rides factory-style steel wheels with chrome caps and red-wall tyres.

Factory options included power disc brakes, laminated windshield, adjustable front bucket seats, sports console, full wheel covers and carpets. During the restoration, ‘GS’ code options were added, and the XY now wears GS-inspired striping, driving lights, sports-style steering wheel and shaker hood scoop.
