The Details:

This 2015 Holden HSV GTS benefits from Walkinshaw Performance’s desirable W507 package and has an interesting homegrown motorsport connection, reported to have previously been owned by father of 2021 Bathurst 1000 winner Lee Holdsworth, Glen Holdsworth.

Introduced in 2013, the GEN-F HSV GTS integrated GM’s supercharged 6.2-litre LSA V8, making it the most powerful Australian production car of its time. Walkinshaw Performance took that performance further with the W507 package, investing considerable development into extracting more power from the engine. Updates included a revised supercharger pulley, ceramic coated headers, dual-active cat-back exhaust, cold air intake and ECU calibration. Walkinshaw quoted outputs of 507kW at 6,200rpm and 850Nm at 4,400rpm, with testing at the time finding it tractable and progressive, matching well to the highly capable factory chassis.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through the factory Tremec TR-6060 MG9 six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. In standard MY15 form the GTS also featured electronic torque vectoring, electric power steering and HSV’s Driver Preference Dial, which integrated the car’s stability control, traction control, launch control, steering, torque vectoring, Magnetic Ride Control and bi-modal exhaust settings.

Braking is by AP Racing, with forged six-piston front calipers acting on 390mm discs and four-piston rear calipers with 372mm discs. This car retains its distinctive yellow calipers and 20-inch HSV ‘Blade’ forged alloy wheels, now wearing Bridgestone Potenza S007A tyres. 

The factory Magnetic Ride Control suspension has been replaced by MCA Performance coilovers. The seller advises that some suspension bushes have also been replaced. A ‘Service Suspension’ warning is reported to appear on start-up as a consequence of the MCA coilover conversion. The seller reports that this does not affect handling or performance and that the conversion is reversible, allowing the factory MRC dampers to be reinstated if desired.

Finished in Heron White, the GTS is distinguished by black exterior accents, yellow Walkinshaw graphics and W507 badging. The seller advises that the original bonnet had an issue with the clear coat and has been replaced by an original part from a 'W1' HSV with air intakes. The engine bay carries a Walkinshaw Performance plaque.

The black leather and Alcantara-trimmed cabin features contrasting yellow stitching and HSV detailing. Equipment includes heated, eight-way electrically adjustable HSV Performance front seats, dual-zone climate control, head-up display, satellite navigation, HSV’s Enhanced Driver Interface, nine-speaker BOSE audio, front and rear parking assistance, reversing camera, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Side Blind Zone Alert and Reverse Traffic Alert. 

This HSV GTS has an interesting connection to Aussie motorsport. The seller advises that its previous owner was Glen Robert Holdsworth, father of Supercars driver Lee Holdsworth, and that Lee subsequently signed both the dashboard and engine cover. The signatures and #25, representing the #25 Walkinshaw Andretti United Commodore shared by Holdsworth and Chaz Mostert in their victory at the 2021 Bathurst 1000, can be seen in the photographs.

The odometer currently indicates 129,547 km. The latest known service was completed by von Bibra Holden in August 2025 at 125,066 km, when the engine oil, oil filter and air filter were replaced.

Accompanying documentation includes the pictured MY15 GTS owner’s handbook, HSV Service/Warranty Booklet, Holden Customer Care literature, HSV/Mobil 1 information card and Holden document wallet. The seller also advises that a collection of invoices accompanies the car. Two keys are supplied.

The seller notes several age and mileage-related cosmetic imperfections, including wear beneath the front bumper, minor marks to the mirrors, doors and rear bumper and small imperfections to the front-seat trim.

This 2015 Holden HSV GTS is a particularly characterful example of one of HSV’s most significant Australian-built performance sedans, enhanced by the Walkinshaw Performance W507 upgrade and an endearing connection to Australian motorsport.

The car will be accompanied by two keys, not the one previously noted.
