The Details:

This 1993 Nissan Skyline GT-R is a notably original example of the celebrated R32 generation, finished in Gun Grey Metallic over its factory dark grey cloth interior and displaying 56,413 km. Recently imported from Japan, it retains its original Japanese warranty and service book and is presented in what the seller advises is completely stock factory specification.

Its original Nissan warranty booklet identifies chassis BNR32-305911, model code KBNR32 RXFS7 AA and paint code KH2, corresponding with the Gun Grey Metallic finish seen today. The booklet records commencement of the Japanese warranty on 14 December 1993 and identifies Nissan Prince Saitama as the supplying dealer. Early inspection entries are also present, including one recording the car at 3,148 km.

Re-introduced in 1989 and returning after a 16-year hiatus, the GT-R wasted no time in leaving its mark on the automotive world. In Group A specification, it won the Japanese Touring Car Championship four years in a row. Here in Australia, it earned the nickname “Godzilla”, scoring back-to-back Bathurst 1000 victories with Jim Richards and Mark Skaife in 1991 and 1992. 

Under the bonnet is Nissan’s 2,568 cc RB26DETT DOHC inline six, employing two turbochargers and producing a factory rated 206 kW at 6,800 rpm and 353 Nm at 4,400 rpm. This is paired with a five-speed manual transmission and ATTESA E-TS electronically controlled four-wheel drive, complemented by four-wheel multi-link suspension and ventilated disc brakes. Factory specification also included the GT-R’s distinctive 16-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with 225/50R16 tyres. 

The cars proved particularly accepting of modifications, and have become a favourite of tuners the world over. This makes this example, which remains largely standard in presentation throughout, quite a special find. 

The engine bay remains equipped with its factory airbox, intake plumbing and original-style mechanical hardware, while the exterior retains the factory wheels, rear wing and characteristic tail lights. Inside are the original GT-R cloth sports seats, three-spoke steering wheel, centre auxiliary gauges and factory audio equipment. The seller advises that the car remains completely stock, authentic and original in specification.

Cosmetically, the car presents well for its age. The seller reports that it experienced a very minor front fender incident while in Japan, with no further damage history advised. A small number of bonnet stone chips have also reportedly been touched in. 

The seller advises that the Japanese service book records the car’s history. Following its arrival in Australia, the car is reported to have been serviced by Katana Imports on 23 February 2026 at 55,990 km, although an invoice for this service is not available.

Presented in rare to find factory specification with period documentation, low indicated mileage and an original presentation, this R32 is an appealing example of the JDM icon.
