This 2016 Audi R8 V10 is a commanding example of Audi’s second generation supercar, finished in metallic grey and wearing a matte charcoal wrap with carbon aerodynamic detailing and matching black wheels. It features refined grey leather interior and shows 68,028 km.

Introduced in 2015, the second generation R8 built upon the acclaim earned by the marque’s original mid-engined supercar, bringing with it sharper styling, more performance and substantial mechanical development. Sharing its underlying architecture with the Lamborghini Huracán, the new R8 combined a naturally aspirated V10, at a time when its contemporaries were moving to turbocharging, with a sophisticated aluminium and carbon fibre structure.

Power comes from a mid-mounted 5.2-litre FSI V10, producing 397 kW and 540 Nm in standard specification. The high-revving, naturally aspirated engine features dual fuel injection, dry sump lubrication and cylinder-on-demand technology, sending power to all four wheels through a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and Audi’s quattro system.

Underneath, the R8 employs an Audi Space Frame chassis combining aluminium with carbon fibre reinforced polymer. Double wishbone suspension, electromechanical steering and ventilated and drilled disc brakes complete the handling package.

This example was originally finished in metallic grey and is currently wrapped in matte charcoal, complemented by contrasting gloss black side blades and black multi-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels. Additional exterior detailing is understood to include a full carbon lip and Maxton Design side skirts, along with a black rear diffuser and retractable rear spoiler, giving the car a more aggressive, low and wide stance that sets it apart from its more restrained origins. 

Inside, the cabin is upholstered in grey leather, with deeply bolstered, electrically adjustable sports seats, contrasting black trim and aluminium detailing and R8 branded sill plates. The cockpit incorporates Audi’s fully digital Virtual Cockpit instrumentation, multifunction flat-bottomed steering wheel with integrated engine start button and drive select controls, together with the seven-speed transmission’s paddle shifters.

Further equipment includes Audi’s MMI multimedia and navigation system, climate control air conditioning and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system.

The seller advises that the R8 was originally delivered into the UK and subsequently directly imported into Australia. It is understood to have been in their ownership for approximately two years. An Australian compliance label confirms a November 2015 build date and October 2026 compliance through MTZ Compliance Pty Ltd.

The vehicle is understood to be accompanied by handbooks and full service history, with its most recent reported service performed by Ace Auto on 21 October 2026. It is currently unregistered.
