This 2020 model year Porsche 911 Carrera S is a well-presented example of the eighth generation 992, finished in metallic silver over black leather and showing approximately 98,000 km. It is equipped with Porsche’s Sport Chrono Package and sports exhaust.

Introduced in late 2018 to rapturous praise, the 992 represented a comprehensive development of Porsche’s enduring 911, introducing a wider body, substantially revised chassis, more sophisticated electronics and a thoroughly modernised interior. At the time, many regarded the 992, particularly in its Carrera S form, as the world’s finest all-round sports car.

Power comes from a rear-mounted, twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre flat-six producing 331 kW and 530 Nm, an increase of 22 kW and 30 Nm over the preceding Carrera S. Featuring revised turbochargers, improved charge air cooling and direct fuel injection, the engine drives the rear wheels through an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and is paired with the sports exhaust. With the optional Sport Chrono Package, the Carrera S can accelerate from 0 - 100 km/h in a claimed 3.5 seconds, continuing to a top speed of 308 km/h.

Underneath, the 992 employs a largely aluminium body structure, MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension, together with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) adaptive damping. The Carrera S also features powerful ventilated and cross-drilled disc brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers. Porsche’s Wet Mode system uses acoustic sensors to detect moisture on the road surface and adjusts driving systems to improve stability.

This example is finished in metallic silver, complemented by black multi-spoke alloy wheels in a staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear configuration, wearing performance tyres and housing red Porsche calipers.

Inside, the black cabin retains a centrally positioned analogue tachometer, flanked by digital instrument displays, alongside Porsche Communication Management with a 10.9-inch touchscreen and integrated vehicle controls. Further equipment includes a leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel with paddle shifters, climate control air conditioning and metallic interior detailing.

The optional Sport Chrono Package adds a dashboard-mounted stopwatch, steering wheel-mounted drive mode selector and additional performance settings, including Sport Plus and Launch Control.

The seller advises that the Porsche has remained in their ownership for approximately two years and is accompanied by handbooks and a reported full service history. Complied in 2019 with the VIN identifying a 2020 model year, it is currently registered in NSW under EJL45N.
