This 1959 Volkswagen Kombi split screen is an eye-catching restored example of the motoring icon, elevated with a few tasteful modern updates and finished in classic brown and off white paintwork over a complementary redone interior.

Complied in February 1959, this Kombi is understood to have been restored in Johannesburg, South Africa. Work included the new finish, interior and rebuild of the 1,600cc aircooled Volkswagen motor.

This Kombi was most recently serviced in July 2025 and the owner reports that it drives very well.
