The Details

The 2016 Holden HSV Maloo R8 LSA is one of the marque’s last great performance vehicles, powered by the legendary 6.2-litre supercharged pushrod V8 engine. This example pushes that already special car to its zenith, resulting in truly awesome performance.

Delivered directly to Tekno from brand new, after its development the car served as a brand ambassador vehicle for the company, exhibiting the quality of their work on the HSV platform. It has been with its current custodian for 8 years, and is supplied with original handbooks and documentation.

The heavily developed engine now delivers 1150nm of torque to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The enhanced performance comes courtesy of an uprated camshaft, modified heads, an aftermarket exhaust system, and bespoke engine tune.

To ensure the car can keep up with the extra power, it rides an adjustable coilover suspension package and 22-inch Walkinshaw alloy shod in Pirelli high performance tyres.

The work carried out by Tekno is fully documented with receipts and dyno read-outs displaying the car’s enhanced performance figures.

This Maloo is reported to have been garaged throughout its life by previous owners and has a documented mileage of just 3,250 kms. It presents accordingly, Sting Red paintwork is pristine and the black over red interior is similarly unblemished.

The Walkinshaw wheels are unmarked with all four tyres showing very good tread. Mechanical components are understood to present immaculately, reflecting careful storage and meticulous ownership.

There is no reported damage to the vehicle.
