The Details

Upgraded with a 3.0-litre Carrera engine and supported by annual servicing since 2021 and a records folder going back 25 years, this 1976 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa presents as a confident example of the classic convertible driver’s car, ready to be enjoyed by a new custodian.

The heart of this Targa is its engine swap from the original 2.7 to a 3.0-litre Carrera flat-six with Bosch K-Jetronic injection. That powerplant has since received a top-end refresh and fuel injection overhaul, now breathing through a Monty exhaust with SSI heat exchangers. It is paired with a five-speed manual transmission.

This 911 has been treated to some aesthetic refreshment as well, with both the white paintwork and black leather cabin understood to have been refinished. A new Targa top made by Targa Dan in the USA has also been installed and the whole package is reported to present very well. The seller does report that the electric wing mirror is not currently working.

The car will be sold with a partial service history as well as a records folder said to go back approximately 25 years. The seller notes that it has been serviced annually by Eurocar Garage in Albion Park since 2021. Original handbooks are not available.
